Phoenix: Survivor Empowerment Program©

Many people who are impacted by domestic abuse are left to rebuild not only their lives but their sense of self-esteem and self-worth. It can be difficult to know where to begin or to find the trauma-informed support to begin the healing process.

The TRAC, LLC Empowered and In-Control Wheel (EIC)© was developed as a hopeful, healing-centered tool that illustrates the positive behaviors that create a pattern for regaining Power & Control after an abusive relationship.

The TRAC, LLC Phoenix Program© is modeled after the EIC Wheel© and provides domestic abuse education, connects participants with the providers who can facilitate the transitional healing services, such as self-esteem affirming workshops, life coaching, and self-defense, that promote self-advocacy and intervention of the cycle of abuse. Participants are encouraged to invite supportive family and friends on this healing journey.

The program is personalized and workshops may be selected by participants. All participants receive a "Phoenix©" workbook to follow along and refer back to.

Self: Youth Relationship Empowerment Program©

  •  1 in 12 high school students experienced physical dating violence.
  • 1 in 10 experienced sexual dating violence.
  • 58% of college students don't know how to help a friend in an abusive relationship.
  • LGBTQ+ and female students experience disproportionately higher risks.

Also inspired by the Empowered and In Control© framework, the Self© Program empowers youth to recognize healthy vs. unhealthy relationship dynamics through interactive, trauma-informed education. The goal is to foster long-term behavior change, strengthen self-worth, and equip students with tools to navigate relationships safely and confidently. There is a strong focus on self-awareness, self-love, and self-worth in addition to education regarding relationships.

Workshops are interactive and include topics related to attraction, identifying healthy and abusive behaviors of their partner, and what equality within a relationship is.

"Oriana Holmes said the things I needed to hear to get my attention. I can honestly say that if everyone cared about their responsibility and had the compassion she does for others, this world would be a much better place. She has given me more information over the last couple weeks than anyone has given me about my situation over the past few years. Not only has she given me information to get the help my family needs, she has done it in a way that has given me the ability to trust her...She is a true example of who every domestic violence victim needs in their corner...So many more victims would stand up and fight for themselves and their children if they knew everything she has made me aware of...Domestic abuse makes you feel trapped and alone but having someone like her on your side will make you feel like a warrior who can make it through anything."

Oriana was a facilitator for our recent 'Loving Yourself' workshop where the goal is to empower youth girls to love themselves unconditionally. Oriana spoke on healthy relationships for our youth girls whether it's with males or females. Oriana also invited our youth girls to an impactful demonstration of the warning/red flags girls should look for in relationships. Oriana inspired our youth girls that they matter and are important despite what others say - and to most of all, love themselves in and outside of relationships. We hope to work with Oriana again soon!
