Oriana's deep expertise is grounded in years of frontline work with survivors, including positions with the Shelby County District Attorney’s Office, Domestic Violence Prosecution Unit, the Tennessee Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence, and multiple nonprofit organizations across Tennessee. As an expert witness, she currently consults in complex legal cases involving domestic violence, custody, and trauma. She has served as an adjunct instructor with the University of Tennessee's Law Enforcement Innovation Center and has trained many professionals in law enforcement, legal services, education, and healthcare. She brings over a decade of hands-on experience supporting survivors and equipping professionals across legal, academic, and advocacy sectors.
As a professional speaker, Oriana has delivered keynotes on domestic abuse/intimate partner violence, healthy relationships, and on the "Empowered and In Control Wheel©"-a hopeful and healing-centered tool developed to help survivors regain their power and control. That framework is the foundation of the "Phoenix: Survivor Empowerment©" and "Self: Youth Relationship Empowerment©" Programs.
